One word film project

Hello! Last week in my Aice Mediastudies class we were assigned a project to make a film to represent a random word we got. The project was a group project of pairs, meaning me and my friend, and the word that we got was "serious".

At first we had no ideas of what we could do to represent the word serious, but then we thought of showing two students, one being a serious student and one being unserious. We thought of showing the two students to try and create contrast between them so it emphasizes the seriousness of one but I think we focused a lot on the unserious student. During the project we had to utilize a brainstorming sheet and we had to create a storyboard. On the brainstorming sheet we had to name 15 shots that we would use to convey the meaning of our word and we would use that sheet to help us effectively create our project. When creating the project we tried sticking to the brainstorming sheet as best as we could, and we did stay true to most of it but some of our shots were not that same as we put on the sheet.

In the end we had to finish the project by editing it. My group ended up using Adobe Express and it turned out to be very easy to use. Overall i think we should have tried to use more editing techniques as I think we lacked in that area, but I think we made our shots pretty well, I'm happy with how they turned out.
